Arts & Culture

Marvel at cultures living and past... applaud a play...
let your eyes dance to a ballet... set your soul free to a symphony...

Enjoy a Tour inside the homes of "Last of the Mohicans" author James Fenimore Cooper, naval hero Capt. James “Don’t Give Up the Ship” Lawrence and more, furnished with significant 18th & 19th century antiques and decorative arts. Part of the Burlington County Historical Society complex, visit the Museum Gallery, with its tall case clocks, decoys, samplers, quilts and a locally-manufactured jinrickshaw carriage. Browse the Tour Center and Gift Shop. Make an appointment to research your genealogy at Delia Biddle Pugh Library. Take in a free Summer Riverfront Concert.

Nearby, beyond the City of Burlington Historic District, observe Native American culture, catch a renowned Jazz Festival, listen to a Philharmonic Orchestra, applaud a play, or a ballet...
